The Albany State Golden Rams volleyball team will host the Savannah State University Tigers at 6:00 pm on Monday, September 18, at The Jones Brothers Health, Physical Education and Recreation Complex. The Golden Rams will be seeking their 4th straight win in the conference.
The Golden Rams will enter the game (3-8) overall and (3-0) in the SIAC. The Tigers are (5-1) overall and (2-1) in the conference.
The Tigers only loss this season was to the Golden Rams. The Golden Rams and Tigers last played on September 6, 2023. On that day, the Golden Rams defeated the Tigers (3-0).
As a team, the Golden Rams are averaging 10.5 kills per set, 9.2 assist per set and 1.7 blocks per set.
Offensively, Jarianis Perez lead the Golden Rams with 116.0 points and 98 kills. Natalie Onozie lead the Golden Rams with 191 assists.
Defensively, Jarianis Perez and Sydney Melton lead the Golden Rams with 93 digs. Kaylin Teasleylead the Golden Rams with 30 blocks.
